In this super interactive course, you’ll learn how to train your dog to perform a variety of stunning tricks, that include vault, overs, flips, and a dog catch! And then you will learn how to string tricks together for a potential freestyle set.
This course is designed not just to entertain, but also to enhance the bond between you and your dog, promote mental stimulation, and provide an intense physical workout for them. By the end of our sessions, you'll have a repertoire of tricks that'll not only be a blast to perform but could also lead to exciting opportunities in performance and competition. Andrea Morrissette's journey in the disc sports world began in 2005 and has since evolved into a deeply rooted passion for disc dogging and disc golf. Her dedication to the craft is evidenced by her continual training with elite players globally and her enthusiasm for integrating her distinct flair and expansive knowledge into her teaching. Andrea's approach to instruction is just as dynamic and engaging as her performances, with a focus on fostering connections and promoting a genuine understanding of the sport among her students.
Achieving Freestyle and Toss and Fetch podium finishes annually since 2013 with various dogs across numerous organizations stands testament to Andrea's competitive spirit and expertise. Her accolades include 3 Freestyle World Championships with her dog Moxie and an impressive 5 Championship victories with Leap. Andrea doesn't just compete; she spreads her love for disc dogging through performances, world travel, and leading instructional seminars and workshops. As a co-founder of UpDog, the rapidly expanding disc dog community, Andrea is at the forefront of the sport, always eager to empower and inspire the next wave of disc dog enthusiasts.
