What you will learn
- How to set your goals for each new season. Andrea will examine the goals you set and help you ensure they are obtainable. She will them help you create a plan to achieve those goals.
- How to format a routine. What are your best moves? Where do they go and why? How do you create a tempo that keep judges and fans interested and captured while you perform.
- How to build a routine that makes better use of the field. When players move about the field, it makes the routine more interesting. Just running around is not the method. But a flowing routine that is properly choreographed an and often does make the difference that separates you from other players.
- Disc Management is one of the most overlooked categories in scoring. It's often the last thing players focus on. Andrea will help you learn how to build a routine that places a priority on disc management. And better disc management often improves players scores, teams scores and success ratios.
- How to manage the wind. We have all been there. In most competitions, you will find a group of players with very close scores. But on the first windy day, you will see the separation between players that know how to play in the wind and those that don't.
- As you are building and training your routine, how do you train when you are learning a new set? How do you move from the first learned set to tying in the next set you are teaching your dog?
- Andrea will break down freestyle routines and walk you through her critique process. What do judges look for and wow. How does that connect to your routine? What changes should you make?
